Greetings Steve & Gisela - parents to be:
Thanks for the photos and the Hussey update. I suppose by now Gisela you are feeling quite fat and uncomfortable. Just be thankful that you don't carry this weight all the time. Before you know it you will be back to a lean, mean fighting machine. Steve, was your photo to show that you have gained a little weight too? Remember, it comes with age. Just wait until you have to start running after the little one - you're bound to lose weight as well as some sleep. Remember, though, it is all worth it in the end.
Your dad had a nice visit and enjoyed seeing your places of employment, the country, your home and most of all just spending time with the two of you. Too bad he couldn't of stayed a little longer. Oh well, at least he'll know how to get there when we come visit some time in August I think you said.
Tomorrow I leave for my national bowling tournament which is in Wichita. I hope I do better at nationals than I did at state this year. Last year I took 15th place for my division so I was into money. Nationals pay a lot more so maybe I'll still get some money back.
I am curious as to how you know that your son has lots of hair. Can they tell that from an ultrasound as I have never heard of anybody else knowing that their child to be had a lot of hair. Interesting!!!!
Puppy seems to be hanging in there. Every now and then I think he has a rapid heart rate though and I don't know what that means. He is eating good and now likes to go outside again. He is almost 17 though and I know his time could be limited here. Your dad tells me that Dakota is not doing very well. Sorry to hear that but I do remember you saying that he was having some stomach problems awhile back. Hopefully he is not in pain. I know you will do everything possible to keep him comfortable.
I suppose by now you are in the countdown stage. I predict that your baby will come early. I am going to pick June 15th (one month before my birthday). However, if you think you are going to have the baby during day hours that usually doesn't happen. Thus, I predict that you will go into the hospital on June 14th at around 10:00 p.m. and that you will deliver around 4:00 a.m. on the 15th. Make sure you have your bags packed and that you don't speed getting to the hospital and don't wait too long as I don't think you will want to deliver a baby Steve.
Now for the names: I don't have much experience picking out boy names but I have three suggestions for you: (l) Trevor John (2) Justin Bourne and finally (3) Shaun Stephen.
All three names are simple and probably do not require him having to get stuck with a nickname - plus they are all easy to spell so that he can learn to spell his name before he starts school.
So, we will anxiously await your call with the news of your new arrival when the time comes. We'll be thinking of you and wishing that everything goes smoothly. Will either your mom or dad be there for the delivery Gisela? I know that that is kind of hard to plan for but I thought Steve said your mom was coming for a month and I thought perhaps she'd come a little early. Even if she can't be there remember that you have Steve (providing that he doesn't pass out). Just kidding!!!!!!
