Hello Everybody, Here is an update of what happened to us after we decided to give up our vagabond lives and re-enter the real world. The first step (unfortunately) was to stop playing and find jobs again. Gisela went to a job interview at Dartmouth College in northern New England the beginning of October just as the leaves were changing. Charmed by nature's beauty at this time of the year (and of course the job) she convinced Steve to move out there with her and accepted the job. The move itself was quite adventurous as our moving truck broke down and had to be repaired and we were not only traveling with our dog-child Dakota but had also just realized that we were expecting our first baby! Fortunately, we could move into the in-law apartment of Gisela's new boss Chuck Wira until we would find a house of our own. The apartment seemed to be located in natures paradise until it started snowing and snowing and snowing... I don't think we ever saw the ground until about the beginning of April. Other than suffering from mild cabin fever, things went well for us though. We managed to buy a little house and move into it by the end of January. Steve found work quickly and is currently working as a veterinarian in a clinic in Lebanon, and also part time at the University. The pregnancy has been very uncomplicated, but full of surprises. We were both convinced that we would have a little girl but I guess we were wrong as both ultrasounds clearly showed otherwise. Gisela's belly is growing as we watch and our little guy is moving around like crazy. We spend lots of time trying to identify where all of his little body parts are located in Gisela's belly. Our last ultrasound showed that he weighs about 4 pounds, 1 ounce, and has a full head of long hair. (We are wondering if he'll look like a little rock star.) Our new due date is June 21st and we are both very excited and a little scared. We hope you are all doing well and we miss everybody and Madison. Hopefully we'll see you soon and you can meet our new addition, parents@babyhussey.com
